2020 TRD Softball League Information

 Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, please note that our 2020 Season has been CANCELLED.  We are hopeful that we will play in 2021. 

For those registered already, please email:
steve@nuxhallmiracleleague.org  and let us know if we should tear up check if not cashed yet, send you a refund or apply cost to 2021 season.


NEW THIS YEAR - ONLINE REGISTRATION - SORT OF!
Now you can submit your application electronically!  We have created a fillable application for softball.  Now, you can complete it electronically and email it to us.  Once you complete the form, save it to your computer and then email that document form to us at:  steve@nuxhallmiracleleague.org   

Note: this format does not accept online payment, so payment will need to be made in-person prior to participation at the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields.  Accepted payment methods include cash, check or money order.

New Beep Ball League forming!
BeepBall 2020 is coming!  All players with visual impairments are invited to play.  Games and practices will be held on Wednesday evenings.    If you are interested, please complete the application.   Players wanting to play in the Beep Ball League can also play in the competitive or instructional leagues on Fridays.

Special Drive Thru Program with our friends at the Dragonfly Foundation - Friday, June 26th at the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields.

​The Dragonfly Foundation has reached out to us and they want to put on a special giveaway event for our players.  Although they would like to accommodate many people, to ensure we don’t take advantage of their generosity, please limit attendees to a registered or intended-registered softball player for 2020 and their families.
 
This event is intended to be a drive through event at the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields.  You will drive in one way, collect your items, drive to the other side and collect your food items and then drive off the premises.  For your safety and the safety of the Dragonfly and other volunteers, no one may stop to exit out of the vehicle for this event.  Feel free to make thank you cards or posters to share with the Dragonfly and other volunteers to show your appreciation when you come!
 
There will be giveaways from the following organizations and businesses:  FC Cincinnati, Hawaiian Five-OH (shaved ice), Glier’s Goetta, Raising Canes and possibly more.
 
This event will take place next Friday, June 26th between 11am and 1pm.  Please note there will be a specific time slot to arrive though based on the player’s last name.
 
I’ve attached a document link below that provides all the details.  You’ll also note that it’s important that you RSVP via the provided email.  In the RSVP, please provide:
  • player’s name (first and last)
  • How many people (player and family) will be coming in the vehicle
  • Note that you have a player from the TRD Adult League
  • Please include my in the RSVP as a check and balance:   steve@nuxhallmiracleleague.org   
 
The RSVP is important so we can plan for a successful event.

FAQ's

New to TRD softball?
Every year our season begins with several practices.  If you are new to the league our coaches will work with you individually to assess your skill level.  Once all of the practices are complete then we hold a draft in which each player is selected to one of four teams.

How much?
The cost to enter the league is $20 and this will cover your team t-shirt, hat, team photo and an end-of-season picnic.

When are the games?
Our games are held on Friday nights from April through July.  We also plan on having some practices and other possible fun activities on some Wednesday nights during the league season.

What happens if there is potential for bad weather?
You may check rainouts by calling the hotline.  That number is 513-275-9903 and it's updated as soon as possible.
